The Argentinean AESA company goes Goldhofer New customer with state-of-the-art technology

AESA is specialized in engineering, construction, manufacturing, and services to the energy industry. This company belonging to YPF S.A was founded in 1948 and today is one of Argentina’s largest EPC companies. AESA has extensive experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry while embracing new opportunities in nuclear, thermal and renewable energy sectors. The company has been involved in a growing number of major construction projects not only in Argentina but also in Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru and Brasil.

To ensure reliable handling of the related construction site logistics and aiming to strengthen its equipment for the wide array of incoming energy projects focused mainly on renewables, AESA’s recently ordered several Goldhofer modules, including the first »ADDRIVE« to be shipped to Argentina. AESA representatives acknowledged that the adquisition of Goldhofer products enables the company to offer the complete range of relevant transport services with a comparatively small number of modules.

The order placed by AESA in May comprised two »ADDRIVE« trailers and twelve additional STHP/SL axle lines plus gooseneck. For the purpose of maximizing the versatility of the equipment, the company also ordered various loading decks and turntable bolsters. The company trusts that »ADDRIVE« technology and its flexibility to switch between the self-propelled and trailered modes makes it the perfect solution for long journeys that include difficult sections like steep gradients. As a result heavy machinery and components could be transport from one place to another using one single vehicle.

The complete order was shipped by Goldhofer to reach Argentina by the end of 2017 so that – following thorough training on the modules with their various functions provided by the Goldhofer service team – they are ready since the beginning of 2018.
