New heavy-duty axle lines and bridges for Tradelossa

Goldhofer AG increasingly strong in Mexico

Even more Goldhofer expertise in Mexico: Long-term customer Tradelossa based in Monterrey has once again invested in German high-tech transport equipment. Tradelossa is increasing its fleet by an additional eighteen Goldhofer heavy-duty axle lines of type THP/SL, one 230 tonne low profile deck, one 120 tonne vessel bridge, a tower adapter, a 300 tonne bolster and other accessories. This adding to its existing equipment of Goldhofer axle lines.

With over 35 years of experience, Tradelossa is one of the absolute specialists in the region for heavy-load and ultra heavy-load transport. Recently the Mexican firm received the prestigious "Job of the Year" award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) in the USA. Aided by its Goldhofer equipment, the Tradelossa team realised the transport of four large cooling towers for a new Gas Plant in Costa Rica and thereby impressed the international jury in the category for the most unusual goods transport up to 75 tonnes. In order to do so, numerous Goldhofer THP/SL axle lines and two telescopic vessel bridges were deployed.
The transport conditions in Mexico and Central America are extremely difficult at times. Extreme climatic conditions as well as poor road surfaces and demanding routes are a major challenge for staff and equipment alike. "This necessitates modern technology and reliably quality. That is why we consistently deploy quality products like the ones manufactured by Goldhofer. We know that we can rely on the vehicles 100 percent. This is, of course, extremely important where numerous off-road trips are required.", explains Mr de los Santos from Tradelossa Mexico.
"We are delighted that our vehicles are becoming increasingly well-represented, especially in the growing markets like Mexico and Central America". “This renewed trust on the part of Tradelossa is a major confirmation for us. It demonstrates yet again that we are a strong partner for our customers, particularly for tricky tasks", stressed Stefan Fuchs, chief executive of Goldhofer AG.
Goldhofer axle lines of type THP/SL are heavy-duty modules in a swivel bearing design. Due to their robust construction method and high moment of flexion, they are especially suitable for off-road heavy load operations. This means they are practically tailor-made for deployment in the difficult terrain in the region.
"An additional advantage of the THP/SL combinations is that these modules can be combined with a host of accessories, in order to provide flexible operation. In addition, these modules can be optionally expanded with self-drive modules of type PST without height displacement and with mechanical and electronic steering", explains Horst Häfele, Director of Sales for heavy duty modules at Goldhofer AG.
