Flatbed trailers are primarily used for the transportation of pipes, crane booms, prefabricated-
parts, components for wind power plants, coils, etc. Due to their universal application options, expandable flatbed trailers are gaining ever more importance in the field of long load transport.
These vehicles can be expanded 1x, 2x or 3x in order to optimally adapt the loading platform. In doing so, loading lengths of up to 55 m are achieved.
Goldhofer is a specialist in the field of turntable / bolster steering. These are also equipped with a hydraulic twin-circuit steering system, which is the case for all Goldhofer steering systems. This ensures that even in the event of failure in one of the steering circuits, the continued safe function of the steering system is guaranteed.
In addition, these vehicles are also equipped with air suspension as standard. If required, all of the vehicles can be supplied with hydraulic axle levelling.
The payload range covers up to an 8-axle model with 100 t. payload, depending on national road traffic regulations.
