Goldhofer is the only European custom vehicle manufacturer to offer this patented vehicle technology. The vehicles are equipped with a steered narrow axle. This narrow axle can be driven on the side. This serves to move the load's centre of gravity towards the bogie, which enables the deployment of a conventional 3-axle truck tractor. This technology was designed in order to facilitate the transportation of self-driven machinery with wheeled / caterpillar-tracked bogies with a free length of minimum 1,790 mm. These dimensions are already standard for construction machinery with kerb weights from approx. 18 t.
