Goldhofer’s proven transport solutions at Intermat in Paris

At this year’s Intermat in Paris, which is being held from 23–28 April, the Goldhofer stand – namely 5B Ext 028 – will again offer a convincing demonstration of proven and innovative transport solutions.

“A major trade show like this is a fine opportunity for us to present our modern systems and convince the industry of their advantages”, says Rainer Auerbacher, Director of Sales International at Goldhofer Transport Technology, with regard to the company’s goals for the Paris event. “As one of the global market leaders in the field of heavy-duty road haulage and oversized cargo transportation, we will be presenting our regular customers and new prospects with two vehicle concepts which have one thing in common: the versatility needed for full and effective support in the face of today’s demanding requirements in the construction and engineering industries.”

At the Goldhofer stand, visitors to this year’s Intermat can look forward to an »ADDrive» 6, i.e. the six-axle version of the revolutionary transport solution developed by the old-established German company from Memmingen. It offers the best of two road transport worlds in a combination of trailered and self-propelled modules in one single vehicle. The »ADDrive« has the capability of handling a wide range of cargos with outstanding efficiency and thus provides maximum flexibility for the construction and engineering industry logistics worldwide. The »ADDrive«  is easily installed in a variety of trailer and semitrailer combinations, e.g. with dropdecks and long-load turntables. Depending on road gradients and surfaces the additional drive provides maximum speed or concentrated pulling force. Hereby it can be operated comfortably by wireless remote control.

The second Goldhofer exhibit at Intermat, the STZ-L4 with wheel recesses, has been developed specially to handle large self-propelled construction equipment. The wheel recesses have the advantage of greatly reducing overall height of the combination. In addition, the STZ-L4 can be quickly converted into a trailer with level deck so that tracked vehicles or heavy construction materials can also be transported with ease. That is possible thanks to a payload of up to 43 tons or even 50 tons in the version with Goldhofer’s successful »MPA technology« (depending on the regulations in place in the location concerned).

Said Chehma, Area Sales Manager at Goldhofer, sums up: “With over 200,000 visitors, Intermat is one of the biggest magnets for visitors from the construction industry worldwide. The event provides our trade show team with the perfect setting for holding talks and winning new customers, meeting key partners in a stimulating atmosphere and also getting a lively impression of the latest industry trends.”
